Trivia Crack Answer: Henry Cavill
About Man of Steel
Henry Cavil portrayed Clark Kent in the movie Man of Steel. Clark Kent is, of course, the alter ego of Superman, also known as the Man of Steel. Man of Steel was released in 2013 and told Superman’s origin story, from his birth on Krypton through his acceptance of his role as Superman. Superman has to come to terms with his identity, as Clark Kent, Kal-el and Superman. Amy Adams took the role of Lois Lane in this film, and Russell Crowe played Superman’s biological father. Man of Steel was a reboot for Superman, who had previously appeared in many movies. The most recent of this was 2006’s Superman Returns, starring Brandon Routh. Man of Steel approached the superhero from a notably darker perspective. This perspective is obvious even from the design of Superman’s suit for the movie, which is darker and lacking the famous red underwear associated with Superman. Chrisopher Nolan, director and writer of the Batman Dark Knight movies, produced Man of Steel. David S. Goyer wrote the script and Zack Snyder, director and writer of Suckerpunch, directed the film. Man of Steel received mixed critical reviews, as many people felt that its pacing was off and the movie lacked sufficient character development. The sequel, Batman v Superman, will be released in 2016. Henry Cavil will reprise his role as Clark Kent/Superman and Ben Affleck will play Batman.
